Rx. Ophiopogonis | Mai Men Dong | 15g | Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin, nourishes Stomach Yin, moistens the Intestines and generates Fluids. With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat. |
Rx. Paeoniae Alba | Bai Shao | 12g | Nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin, adjusts the Ying and Wei, softens the Liver and relieves pain. With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood. |
Rx. Rehmanniae | Sheng Di Huang | 12g | Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, and generates fluids. With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat. With Mai Men Dong and Nan Sha Shen, for a dry mouth, thirst, dry lips and a red tongue due to Stomach Yin Deficiency. |
